I have driven professionally for 20+ years anything from small Vans to 7.5 lorry's and hold a full driving licence including a Psv licence. I rode horses many yrs ago but lost involvement with them when i started full time work and have only been back into horses for the past 14 yrs since i met my wife Juls who has taught me to be confident again around horses and in handling them and recently how to ride properly with my own horse Jester,pictured to the left.
Both myself and Juls decided to start this little venture together to put both the love of horses and my driving experience together to help others that can not transport there horses to and from new destinations be it a show or purchase / sell.
I am also fully authorized with Type 1 Animal Transporter Authorization licence and have also recently passed my Animal Movement Compitance Certificate (AMC).
Juls Hopkins
Juls has had many yrs experience with and around horses from the age of 10 when she was lucky enough to own her very first horse, Beauty. Juls as a teenager had a weekend / holiday job at a riding school in Dorset where she gained her experience with the day to day duties of working with horses including bringing in, turnout, feeding, mucking out and general yard duties which she carried on further when she left school and got her 1st job at the Heavy Horse Center in Dorset.
At the center juls gained an insight into working with different breeds of the horse and there backgrounds. Juls took time out to bring her up her children then returned to the love of horses many yrs back when she purchased her mare Toffee (pictured left) a Gypsy Vanner Cob along with 2 other horses Dodger and Jinx.
Juls also has a City and Guilds in Animal Movement Compitance Certificate (AMC).
